WOW this is a mix between Prada SS11 & Dolce Gabban FW09!!!!
The polka dots collection from Dolce if you see many pieces are very similar to this collection even the pockets!!!!!!!!

What a surprise, as always! The first looks immediately read fresh, but as the show progressed one could definitely see the influence of Vuitton's archive on Jacobs' tastes. The music was a rather lame take on the 90s, which was evident in the accessories, but Marc didn't adhere solely to gritty 90s cool or haute bourgoise madame; he made it all his own with the (rather tricky) mix-and-match texture play, and circular everything. The Polka-dotted gloves were a bit much, but the proportions absolutely gobsmacked me. I can't wait to see the flared-hipped skirts used in editorials, and how it will influence designers in the upcoming seasons. His forumla worked for the better this time, and I can't wait to explore it up close.

I loved it, nothing is going to change my opinion on this collection.

i can see lots of Prada influences but i absolutely loved the tailoring & styling. most of the looks were sharp/clean and the details were spot on.

Does anyone have anything new to say this season.
Fashion doesn't always have to be new, though. This is a business, not a science invention competition. Sometimes 're-hashed' ideas make for brilliant pieces.

i saw so many things in this show! DEFINITELY Prada Fall 2008 (with the tiniest bit of last season too), and also Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009, but all with some modern-day Balenciaga style.
I saw polka dotted military women, 1940's retro glamor, and Cruella Da Ville all in this collection.
That's what I love about Marc... he presents a heavenly collection, interpreted in many different ways, and gets people talking about it.

definitely see him reaching into the Louis Vuitton bin. See some implied Mandarin collars and silhouettes from the last LV Asian inspired collection.

The polka dots were a nice change up as we haven't seen that this week.

this collections is really....weird to me. I feel like I should love it, but I can`t... a Lot from here have been in prada spring summer 2011, prada fw 08 and dolce fw 09, and I hate that thing of comparing designers but it just... for me so uninspiring ... and please no more lace (it was everywhere the last two seasons). I hope it will grow on me after seen it in pictures.

Ha! The Manson is perfect, especially that song. What an amazing set/catwalk too. Wow. I like the 180 turn from last year's serene show to this intensity and hard-edged tailored clothes, hard edged music, set, columns, glass catwalk, etc. Savvy. Good for Marc. Rock on!
