I'm gonna go ahead and add the scarves to my list of things I'd like to never see again.

Thanks for posting another review IsabelMarantBoy

I hadn't thought about the fashion eccentrics by whom Marc was inspired, in part, but it makes perfect sense! How awesome of Marc to pay tribute, via homage, to these fashion stalwarts/eccentrics, who were around long before the ADR's of our day!

It was fearless, just like Piaggi, Yaeger, and co. And it made you fall in love with fashion and Marc Jacobs all over again.

If nothing else, his show has everyone talking - first one in NYFW to do that since Wang, another much maligned designer. I loved both of their shows. Call me crazy! :p

Some of it works, but all these silhouettes are just so unflattering. And some of the styling is horrid.

This exactly. It's wonderfully whimsical and fascinating but a little awful at the same time. The models look like dolls with outfits made by bigger people and those oversized safety pins. Not sure whether to love or hate those hats... And that crochet...
