the shoes and bags however are way too awkward for my liking.

one major complaint is that it's a bit derivative of what Stefano Pilati has been doing for YSL

It's like he took YSL Sp 07 and Sp 08, changed the stars to hearts, and styled it up with a slight Marc feel.

Those colors and pants scream Miami Senior a la golden girls circa 1987. Its so Dorothy and Blanche .

actually come to think of it the pants are cool NOW but will they be by NOV/DEC 08 JAN 09?
it seems like a lot of designers are betting on it. I feel like I can't click a resort thread without seeing them unfortunately

aside from the pants though, I really like this.

I like this because it has YSL touches to it. The ruffle hearts are great.

There are some cute pieces among the tacky mind-80s junk, but the few cute pieces are completely overshadowed.

I think this is especially disappointing because he's done the whole 80's redux thing, and much better than this.

I even like it. The accessories are great. Funny but on the other site very chic.

Well its definately eye candy. Pretty to look at. This is probably the best thing Ive seen from Marc Jacobs. The heart motif is overdone. I liked Victoria Beckham in that short dress, shes was pretty.
That whole bow thing is kinda stupid looking, something ud see in a stupid cartoon.
6/10 at most

I surprisingly like it. I don't really see this being very.. resort-y.

i hope this is not a sneak preview of his spring collection

i really hate those pants , a lot resort collections had them but they are sooo not sexy, they really remind me of an episode of Golden girls . I wish marc would go back to the clean lines he had in the late 90s and early 2000s , his clothes have become very cartoonish.
