Love what I see, although, I almost always do...They have the strangest shows- one year it is models in a room standing on pedestals, next year a super modern stage set like Star Trek, and now a white curtain...? OK, whatever works I guess...

I don't know if it's the lighting or what, but the fabrics are looking rather cheap. O_o

Celebrities and their stylists are obsessed with Marchesa, so I'm sure we'll see some of this on the red carpet.

some of it looks mildly wearable, and they seem to have limited their abuse of tulle. it's still not a lesson in good taste, but i'm not as completely horrified as i was last season.

Hm... I expect more from Marchesa!

Even though I`m a hige fan of opulence & embroidery these dresses look too "heavy". The fabric seems "stiff" and the drapery doesn`t work with it.

really? I'm always underwhelmed by them. I seem to see elements of past Dior/Alexander McQueen/Givenchy, etc collections sprinkled throughout, for example. However, in this latest collection, I think they're starting to come into their own as designers.

I do agree about the heaviness. I mean, that dress on Sui He looks like it's just weighing her down.

This is a definite downgrade from the exquisiteness of the last collection.

Pretty dresses but does the Marchesa woman have a life off the red-carpet?

No, especially when one of the designers is married to a huge Hollywood player.
