Haven't been taken by her work in a while (since she moved on from lace I admit ), but this looks rather nice, less frilly and fragile than the last couple of seasons.

There's something almost floral about it and also, an air of Camelot.

Her works in recent seasons haven't been consistent at all. Judging from what I see here, it hasn't really improved, she's going down the Ann Valerie Hash path, producing such forgettable clothes. I simply don't get it.

It seems a lot of these smaller, highly creative female designers are starting to follow Isabel Marant's recipe for success, I wonder if they know that it's exactly what they did before what could be far more appealing now, clothes that are extremely detailed, hard to get and more unique in comparison to mainstream labels..
I've completely lost hope on Anne Valerie but I still save some for Moon Young Hee.. I hope it won't be long before we get to see her doing collections like S/S 05.

hrmmm I think FW08 was her truly last breathtaking effort. hopefully she'll make a return in this direction at some point
