I've always thought Proenza Schouler was way too expensive but now they're definitely reaching Balmain territory with their pricing. The only item from their F/W 12 collection that's less than $1,500 is a basic black tencel top for $525.

I think those moda operandi prices are a little pumped up because they get pieces exclusively from latest collection...at least I hope so

I understand NY designers now for being expensive since they're not big fashion houses and don't have a big atelier team and it takes even MORE time for them to make the outfits.

At least that PS top has some type of construction and thought put into it as opposed to this:
