To me it looks more like it comes with a train of actual fairies who follow you around sprinkling fairy dust, so your life is one lengthy party on the lawn ... and you never get to leave the 80s.

That Zac Posen dress is so weird!
Some designers like to reference what i consider to be the best of the 80's: What was shown on the runway or in films/music videos at that time...etc.

And then, there is Zac Posen who seems to be inspired by what people actually wore at that time.
It's so Kitsch!

The Zac Posen is uglier than family violence.

All of those Zac Posen gowns on modaoperandi could've easily been switched out for that big, obnoxious wedding gown in "Bridesmaids" and the comedic effect would've been just the same. Note to self: please don't watch his documentary.

It might not be that pretty but it's Demi-couture which explains the high price tag.

It is overpriced also if it is a Demi-Couture piece and Chanel.
71,800,00 euro!!! Can imagine 40 ,000 because of Demi-couture.. but at least it is not a leather or vison , Denim by Chanel.

^^
I don't find it overpriced at all. You're paying for the prestige of the brand and the craftmanship. This is the closest thing to Couture. And Chanel metiers-d'arts collections are made by Lessage, Lemarié...Etc.

Usually at Chanel the runway collections are the most expensive ones, the Métiers D'Arts being the most expensive as a whole.

I've heard that Chanel's business is now drive by the fashion instead of the beauty (that's why they launched the Gabrielle perfume). Considering the prices of their clothes and bags (the rocket back cost more than 10 000£), i can totally understand why.

THIS IS OVERPRICED!
1720 euros, Astronaut printed sweater 100% cotton.
And it is selling like hotcakes....

^That one doesn't surprise me after I saw this one earlier with just a few ostrich feathers priced at 11,900 dollar.

Ugh, that Saint Laurent monstrosity looks like it came straight out of the Flinstones, or Conan The Barbarian Haute Couture. The way the bottom is cut makes want to throw up.

Can tFS experts chime in? Is it because the feathers are hand-embroidered onto the leather? Is it because there are tons of them? Is $100K a good price to look like an extinct avian species?
