I'm reading some over dramatic comments. I think we shouldn't compare her to the legends of fashion. Its just fashion, come on... I think these clothes will sell and thats what really matters.

I actually like the collection.

Oh and what Oceaneyes posted above is great.

the collection isnt that bad.. its much better than gwen stefani's lamb collection...

i guess nikki really likes fashion... whether she's an amateur far away from professional... i guess she enjoys fashion.....

i wonder what people would say if there was no label attached... maybe less biased comments? who knows....

she may design cloths but she is NOT a designer, an artist...her clothes may sell and may be nice, but theyre things weve seen already, nothing new. And LAMB may be a brand for a different target but it has GREAT collections, part from the taste of many people but it brings something new to the table, of course gwen is not a designer, its just her name on the brand but she works with people who knows about fashion and fashion is not just clothes...

It's not that bad but I think she could've done much better with all the resources, support and money she's got.

I love when celebs give their lines wannabe pretentious names trying to give their some credibility. Nicholai? Whats that about. It's not trash but honestly completely irrelevant.

Nicholai is actually her real name...Nicky is a short version..
This is actually really funny, because in Russian ( and it is a russian name) it is man's name. I guess her parents didn't bother to find that out

^ There was no point in finding out, though, since they're not Russian.

I actually wonder this about most collections, especially the "big" designers like Chanel and Balenciaga. I find that most people have one opinion and stick with it, no matter if the clothes are nice or not.

true, there's no real coherence, no central idea, it's just "nice". it kind of gives me a mango-esque feeling for some reason? -> all these different styles i guess

i must say i do like the bandeau bikini top

but i wonder to what extent she actually really designs this? is she the one drawing? i guess she just pops out ideas and other people make it into something concrete, right?

some pieces are ok, very bad styling, the dress Nicky is wearing is simply ugly and does not do her an favours, the entire collection is very UNNICKY.
