See this is what I really detest about fashion in NY....the way certain designers try to revolve their work around the world of Anna Wintour just because of who she is and where she works. Does she really feel that this attempt will actually benefit her in the long-run? There's been plenty of designers throughout the years that's tried this, ultimately becoming mere afterthoughts to Vogue and possibly Wintour herself. Elitism is tripe and slaving to people because of their status is just sad to me.

Having said that, obviously she mustn't be very confident in her work if she's that desperate for approval otherwise it wouldn't really matter.

OMG. I will be there and i cant wait. I want to see Marc by Marc Jacobs, Cloak, Rock and Republic, Lacoste and whatever else fits my fancy.

And I will simply have a heart attack if i see Gemma, Vlada, Hana, Du, or Natasha.

i perfectly agree.

thats why even though she is not well liked i had a tremendous amount of respect for what Tara Subkoff said.
regarding new york fashion.
and as a designer working here I definately see this evil system at work firsthand.

thanks for your honesty scott.

I'm really excited about the schedule. My two must see before I die shows are Heatherette and Betsey Johnson. They are on the same day. If I could find a way to sneak in, I could go to NY for the day. That would be amazing. (I live in NJ so it wouldn't require a plane ride or anything.)
