it's simply sad what they are doing to the house, such a disgrace

Balenciaga never compromised."

It's not a bad collection...It's just not ODLR at all. They tried to make it identifiable as ODLR with the logo thing but at the end of the day, it is maybe a good (not even Monse) collection.

I get what they are trying to do. ODLR doesn't need that much of "modern" touch as it is quite timeless and still a bit conservative and very American in the couture sense.

They should try to think differently. Instead of putting a pair of faded denim with big shirt, they should try to think about how the ODLR woman would wear those proposition.
First of all, she will never wear a pair of faded denim...She will maybe wear raw denim, with a shirt with some Couture sleeves. She will pair her logo tshirt with a very fancy ball skirt.

It's a struggle.

I see what they tried to do, but it's not working for me!

It's as transparent as a glass of water. Very amateurish and uninspired. The clothes are wearable, but far too simpleminded. I'm sure they would sell well in your average American mall, but not for a high end RTW and Demi couture line such as ODLR. Monse is wonderful and fresh, but I absolutely hate what they're doing here. It's not a good fit no matter how hard they try. They've had a good amount of time between the first collection and this one to get it right, about 6 months actually. They should just focus on Monse and build it into something major. I believe they can do it.

Naomi Campbell / Lineisy Montero / Rianne Von Rompaey / Mica Arganaraz / Vittoria Ceretti

This is a young OdlR, I like it, fresh but still wearable for all ages.

welcome to the inner workings of my mind
