yeah a few seasons back there was a NY fashion show that resembled the Plato's Atlantis theme from McQueen too. There are things like the Chinese dress that anyone can do since it's a national dress and not proprietary to any label, and then there are these McQueen dresses that you simply can't get away with.

Unfortunately, a draped dress with a tiled print will always resemble McQueen's last collections.

there are many designers who are doing draped dresses with digital prints and they don't resemble McQueen at all actually. These are simply shameless, blatant copies.

Tiled prints I said, where one takes a pattern and flips it on it's axes to create this 'kaleidoscope' look. No matter what pattern it is, it always looks like McQueen if it's done in this way.

Again, my statement still stands even with tiled prints. Many designers are doing tiled prints in a way(on dresses, skirts, pants, etc.) that doesn't scream McQueen.
