paul smith is a designer i find extremely boring even in his womens collection. the only thing i liked about this collection were the freaking ties. everything has been done in exactly same way. it's a shirt, it's a pants, it's a suit. *yawn*

The gold buttons/handkerchiefs or any other kind of (accessories) shown in this stuff is distracting. Very 80's and very tacky. If the colours of the suits were dark the gold buttons would look better.

I think this collection is OK, it's all very wearable and all works together very well at least there's some consistency. I like the double breasted jackets. But I can understand people finding it on a touch on the bland side.

I thought the A/W 05 collection was fairly vulgar and I struggled to find anything I liked. But when I did find something I liked I can't get hold of it because no one ordered it the UK! I'm actually finding that frequently with Paul Smith mainline the bit's that I like are selling overseas but not where the fashion designer resides! (London by home town)

I've been trying to post a "help me find" post in the shopping forum related to above but I just can't get it to work by the way. Can anyone help?
