the dress with the sky print is sweet. it's not bad--in fact,if this were anybody else with this typical style,i would probably like it more. that quirkiness of his first seasons in london and prior while still based in antwerp....it's how i come to sort of identify pilotto's schtick and i miss that element quite a bit here.
anyway, seems a bit of a nod to azzedine alaia with those circle-skirt bandage dress silhouettes....redundant body con while managing to put his own trademark on it.
The the whole look in the 2nd picture looks so much like the preview of the Versace for H&M collection, hehe.
I think I like this, will have to check out the HQs but it looks really fun. The first collection this season that uses prints that still look flattering and feminine instead of just looking loud and overwhelming.
Great collection from Peter - I've loved his use of prints in the past couple of seasons and he seems to make truly flattering shapes for many of his clothes. Even though it's not anything especially new in terms of design or print, it still feels fresh.
great collection. Mr. Pilotto really can do eye-catching work! love the patterns and colourful combinations. some shapes are bit science fiction, but it looks still very sexy and feminine
In particular, I like the looks that mix the graphic prints with florals, and some of the sleek body con styles are a nice change from all the loose, drapy, boxy, midi (etc.) cuts in many of the other collections.
