I think this is a overused phrase alltogether. No, NY isn't as exciting as London or Paris but there are some great designers and brands showing there, and they should be judged on their own collections, not "oh, it's new york, yawn". I do love this though, Phi is one my favourites at NYFW and they deliver... I might be biased though, because I love zippers!

I actually dare to say I am more interested in what's coming from New York compared to London - People like Ohne Titel, Rad Hourani, Robert Geller or Doo.Ri are showing here and I'm thinking that besides great talent designwise and a lot of diversity in vision, they are also capable of delivering great, sophisticated, believably luxe clothing in store that is worth spending good money on.
