I am confused as to what all of that was. It was like a mash-up of every NY designer into one. Some serious editing was lacking
Tbh, that's how I feel about a lot of NYFW, especially some diffusion lines which seem more and more like designers aren't even bothering to hide the fact that they're just their for a little extra money.
Well it's quite distinctive from previous one, hope they have a plan of producing this collection. Overall there are some really nice pieces though even though I prefer menswear. Hopefully, their main line won't be like this.
I'm literally questioning right now if this is Pierre Balmain. Like, it looks sooo average. I mean, yes it's the lower-priced line of Balmain, but it just doesn't look like it has anything to do with the label. It looks like a hot mess.

I don't know what more you can expect from a Licensed brand, they were never going to follow the same DNA as it's premium counterpart, this isn't on the same level as McQ or MBMJ which are designed in house, so expectations for me are never high, considering I've always felt a little let down by the brand since it launched.
It is very bland, nothing overtly special or unique, nothing that you couldn't achieve at a place like Zara or Topshop at more than half the cost.
The fabric quality in some, if not most of the pieces looks questionable & cheap especially the last dress, which to me looks like cheap nylon, considering the price point they are in within the market.
The only piece I like and would consider buying is the white, long sleeved shirt with the navy panels on the shoulders in post #8.
