Oh, Kelsey I was about to start a new topic about this collection, but you beat me to it!
I loved it, very pretty, for lack of a better word, and it kept me interested, which quite a few of the shows these seasons failed to do. :?

First... Kelsey, I think you write really well. Don't sell yourself short. :|

Second, great pictures too. 8)
I like the diamond patterned sweater in number two, numbers six dress, nine coat, twelve dress and every dress after this one.

I'm also liking how so far "masculine mode" is to Milan what "mod" was to New York. I'm almost sad to say that Milan seems much more sophisticated now for the past several seasons. Maybe we should begin a lobby or campaign of some sort to persuade our New York designers to get on the ball.

Thanks for the pics. I really like your choice of black dress.
A few great bags I see too.

The dress Eugenia wears, which you like Xopher, it MIGHT be my favorite...also the black one Natalia wears. Well I suppose the white one, but I like the style on the black one! I would love to wear them both!!!!

Miuccia does it again! How fresh and amazing! No white go-go boots and Rabanne-esque minis here--she did them last season. I love how she is ALWAYS ahead of the pack. I can guarantee that all the Jacobs and Kleins and Karans of the world will be doing this butch/50s rich housewife look for next fall.

Am I the only one who didn't like? I usually love everything Miuccia does, but this is just off for her. I thought the trousers and some of the tops were so unflattering, the muted colors were drab and it's nothing I haven't seen before. The bags and the shoes were unfortunate, I usually look forward to those every season.

However, I do like when designers take things into a new direction and show their different abilities. She does this season after season and that's why I like her.

Thanks for the pics, Kelsey and Jaime.

this is an ali-g translated version of the style.com Prada review

milan, february 28, 2003 – whun da goin gets tough, no one can cut an ruk fa wicked design wiv as much substance, conviction and richness of intelligence as miuccia prada. usin an unlikely mix of potentially dowdy british tweeds and bruvers’s shirtin, bright, lustrous william morris prints, umble linin silks and deluxe furs and skins, she performed shea alchemy to create a vision of igh chic fa ard times.

prada started by introducin a new cut—a funnel-neck tommy hilfinga wiv a yoke shoulda and raised, belted waist. thun she eked sexiness out of striped bruvers’s shirts, pinstripe pants and pencil skirts in windowpane suitin fabric by showin them wiv satin platform slingbacks and a soupçon of da undone. a shirt came wiv a chopped-off raw sleeve. a black alligata tommy hilfinga was worn ova just a shirt and a long, mannish sweata, checkin as though da weara did ave somehow forgottun a skirt—but fabulous just da same. accessozired though dey were to da last detail, wiv gloves and da season’s boxy bags angin from leatha and metal chains, da outfits all ad an air of elegant off-hand improvitasion.
