I couldn't agree more, this is my favorite kind of Prada. I loved the silhouettes and prints because even with the prints, it seemed very minimal. Very 90's in the cuts (but what isn't 90's right now).

I also loved the runway, it reminds me of the super glossy runways from the early 00s and provided a great contrast with the austere, quirky clothing.

I quite enjoyed it, it was something different for her, quite back to basics at the begining slowly getting into her prints towards the end, those furry things added quite a soft edge and the shoes were great...my only critisim is that, i saw most of this at the menswear show....

those triple stacked boat shoes (idk what they are called) were horrible during the men's show and are still horrible during the women's show. I did find those silver heels and the sunglasses super interesting. still thinking about the actual clothes lol

I saw inspiration from mexico, and teddy boys
the first part w the sneakers was a huge NO for me, but that's miuccia being ugly again

I think the shoes are goona photographed to death!

I have to say I kinda liked it. I'm not over the moon, but it worked. I loved how the boxy, almost flapper silhouette met tango and South America. The colors and prints were pretty beautiful (yes, even those crazy banana/monkey prints were cool IMO). I guess this season is all about playing with proportion and doing it with the right colors. Colors that are either warm and bold or soft and light. So Prada is on trend this season and not beyond the trend. Like she was last season.

i need to watch the feed...
but i have to say that i just love the fact that it is sooooooooooo far from what happened last season at prada...

*soooo many articles written about this big statement with bigger models and the return to the curvy feminine woman....
and then she just wanders off and does this!...
haha...
it serves all those silly fashion journalists right for trying to make something out of nothing...
imho...

fashion is fickle...and it changes before your eyes...

if for no other reason, i like this collection...
because it is SO uniquely prada, and so NOT just another fashion show...

in a market where everything begins to blur and look the same...
this is so refreshing to see...even if it makes me laugh a bit...
when you take risks, you are bound to have hits and misses...
but let's take a second to applaud the risk-taking...
especially in this retail climate!

And she knows it.

I liked the collection. There's something about Prada that get on my nerves. I'm not a Prada boy or victim and their definition of sexyness it's way too far from mine, still, their ugly-chic fascinates me. I find it so sexy I hate it.

This collection was very sexy and clean, I was about to get an erection until I saw those horrible sneakers, then they turned me off right away.

Never has a truer sentence been typed out at tfs than that one.

In my mind, it applies to nearly every Prada collection I've ever seen, and if I were to start on why, a thousand words later, and I wouldn't have said anything better than the above.
