what an interesting preen collection....not my favorite though

i'm loving the seperates in this collection, and the marble-print like pieces. i def see a lot of givenchy in the dresses, and a bit of lanvin too (we're seeing lanvin inspiration in so many NY collections this season...) but the lace up piece, and some of the black cocktail dresses are just i'm not too thrilled with the colors either...

to be honest i think preen needs to show back in london

Despite the hint to other designers, I really, really like this collection!
The clothes are so beautiful and I LOVE the colour palette used, not one piece I dislike!
Definitely favourite show so far...

oh lovely! i want to own everything! love the interesting and innovative placements of zippers. weird zippers are my weakness. it's great! i can imagine them having so much fun designing this collection!

very cool, totally flattering to a womens shape. the taupe corset jacket that ties in the back is a favorite.

i completely agree. i think this is perhaps the most derivative collection i've ever seen from them. they have really lost that distinct voice they once had. it does now that i see as a whole,look and awful lot like sophia....with bits of wauchob.


to me at their most distinct and wonderous best was between 2000 and 2003.

yes, I see the sophia reference too (never good), ruffles are so hard to wear, maybe only work for the red carpet types but there are some other elements in this i like.

To me, I see a lot of detail in the most unexpeected of places.

Whether it's strung through a lot of holes, draped with string, cut out with ruffles, the detail is put in an odd place but it really makes the dresses so much more special.
