I really need to see what Marc Jacobs has to offer because all designers from NY have gone the same so far, including Preen. I like the lace pieces though.

The straps are interesting... reminds me of Mark Fast though.

i actually think it's better than it's been. at least there are more signatures coming to fore and less of the derivative and banal stuff of the previous seasons. the printed and textured stuff in the best though.

and jordan, thea and justin were actually doing stuff like that before mark fast.

I like the lace pieces too. At least it feels like they're developing the ideas rather than just staying in the same place.

This is pretty much what I expected from Preen. The concepts I've seen are the same as from previous collection. I'm not disappointed, but I was hoping for something more.

ITA - the concepts are OK, but it looks poorly constructed.

But then, so much seems to, these days, for some reason?

i'm loving this punk spin to the transparency trend. also, i love the way they've developed that old balenciaga vocabulary into something quite wearable and covetable....especially those great silver pants and "moppy" pieces.
