there was a blurb in wwd saying that the colette store wasnt having much sucess with the proenza items. and that regular colette shoppers were confused....

i plan on purchasing the linen blazer and matching skirt later on.

I find the bustiers gorgeous, but am much too shy to actually wear one. Maybe I should try one on sometime--I might just surprise myself Nice purchases, by the way!

I received a bunch of stuff today. I love the brown bustier dress. I read that a lot of people found it to run small, so I ordered a size up. It's actually a little big right under my arms. I think a size smaller might be too tight around the banded part, though. But I'm definitely keeping it. I also got the purple palm print dress, which I'm definitely not keeping. I like the way it's styled in the ads, but the dress itself is definitely not me. I also got the tshirt in yellow, purple and white. The yellow is a little muddier than I had expected, but the tshirt fits cute and I'm going to keep all 3 because they were so cheap. I have a few pics that I'll try to post tomorrow...

i've received the bustier tops i ordered...
my boobs are bigger than usual right now so there's a bit too much cleavage going on for me, but i'm going to try them on again later this week or next week so i can make a decision on them..

i'll have to post some pics of how everything looks..

I just wanted to share my PS update.

I'm having the same troubles as a lot of you all. My yellow tissue tee has a few tiny holes near the banded bottom. Would it be stupid to buy another?
Also, my shipment from target.com was cancelled last week saying they did not recognize my address, or something like that. It could be the dorm situation. I'm a bit mad because that shipment was to contain the blue/white kimono dress as well as a skirt and coat (I think that's all I limited it down too.)

Oh well I just see it as a sign seeing as I'm well over my supposed "budget" for my entire life.

What I have bought so far...
-Purple bustier dress
-Navy/Blacke empire dress
-yellow tissue tee
-brown/white palm cropped jacket
-red wind breaker

^ it wont be out until march 15 in stores. i haven't been recently but that store has a very large selection of go international items.

is anyone else wishing that these go international designers would put out some limited edition makeup at target to go with their collection? i think its a really smart thing to do. i think that might be the next new trend. both behnaz sarafpour and proenza schouler both put out a 25$ limited edition lipstick colour with lancome at the same time as their target collections. but i just wish the makeup was cheaper. it would have been really smart for paul and joe to put some mini versions of her cosmetics at target as her makeup is already sold at sephora. peter som will be releasing his lancome lipstick in november. i hope that means he will be a go international designer then...

that's really disapointing that the tissue tees and tanks are having quality control issues. i would just return them to the target store and complain. im sure they would take it back.

I just got the grey s/s sweatshirt and love it! I just went to Target to get some other things, and found they had both colors of the s/s sweatshirt in. Great item for a great price!

^ yep, i just went out to target a while ago and dropped about $150 for a BAGFUL of PS stuff... including was the grey 1/2 sleeve sweatshirt... they also had it in the black. i'm planning on layering it over some other shirts until it gets warmer, so i got a small (usually an X-small). I love it!! The fit overall is pretty good. it's just a sweatshirt, so nothing exciting. :P

oh, and believe it or not, the target i went to still carried the bustier tops, kimono dress (not interested), and bubble coat

that's what you get for living in the suburbs
