You're welcome, Kikidor!

Speaking of Malan, this looks like a voiceover work he's done for ABC. See bio. I love his diabolical laughter. Mwahahahaha! I hope he lasts long. He'll make good TV.

I didn't like Alison's design. It was too pale and washed out and it looked ill fitting. I couldn't see the silhouette she was going for. To those of you who liked it can you explain why?

Malan's laugh tickled me to no end, there's good tv right there. I really liked the Barbie designer's dress, the fan pleated white dress and the pretty blonde girl's dress. the arrogant designer's outfit was reminiscent of Rick Owens but still nice seperately only his tats were so distracting. I've never seen a neck that huge on such a skinny man. Can't wait to find out who the perpetrator of the scandal was!

Oh and the winning designer, the one who supposedly looks like Lewd Jaw, resembles this actor from Weeds, the one who plays the irresponsible pothead brother.

yes he did
I am sure this has been discussed before but Santino's friend with the little girls who took him in and helped him when the chips were down and Tim Gunn visits with, is Tony Ward (model who was once Madonna's lover and in that "Hustler Blue" sp? movie too). Santino is also a friend of Jeffrey's.
I was kinda slow to put these factoids together but find it interesting so in case anyone else missed it...

For those in NY, I just saw this:
Also, attention New York! Emmett and Chloe will be holding a trunk show and sale at the Martha Clara Vineyards on Saturday, July 15th from 12 - 5. So, if you missed them at Emc2 you can still meet Chloe and Emmett in person and purchase their designs on Saturday. Anyone planning to go? We'd love to have a report!

^ i didn't like it either so i can't answer your question. i'm guessing it's more because of alison than the design.

No one has mentioned Bonnie's. The fit was beyond awful but I think it was pretty cool. I don't know, I liked it. But my favorite was Robert's. The back was so pretty.

I agree............last season there were very few designers that I felt were REALLY good.

Plus.........this season has a lot of "seasoned" designers who have already had some experience with their own lines or businesses.

Well, I didn't answer you b/c I know Alison in real life and thought I might be biased. But I do and always have liked that she takes form-fitting shapes and makes them a bit different. She is good at ruching and adding detail without making something look overdone. I also love her neckpieces and thought it was a nice finish to the garment.
Her whole look was quite wearable in a fresh and youthful way and didn't look cobbled together from odds and ends. I liked it fine- it wasn't my favorite of this challenge but she definitely has a different and distinct perspective and is talented. And she is super sweet and humble which doesn't hurt
