Maybe my least favorite collection of him. Let's be honest, he is the only attraction at NYFW and this collection feels like it's design by someone who believes in his own hype.

For a longtime, Raf was that iconic and influencial designer who was really adore by pure fashion fans. Hedi Slimane was maybe the more mainstream name but Raf, being a bit under the radar, did magnificient collections that pushed or ideas of taste and everything.

Today, Raf is the household name that is being name-dropped by rappers and everybody who wants to be cool and he is clothes are also collected by a crowd obsessed about popstars and a certain idea of cool. Wearing Raf Simons today is like wearing Supreme in a way...

And i feel like he is designing with this crowd in mind. This is a collection designed for the people who discovered Raf Simons through Asap Rocky 4 years ago.
It doesn't even matter if the collection is good or not...It's RAF so...

I'm more excited about his vision for Calvin Klein...

I don't like it either. Looks like someone following London black kids ie. Ib Kamara, Justin French... without a real passion for the culture.

Those knits look so cheap. I know they look undone or poorly made on purpose but still... But that's not enough...He maybe busy with CK, ok, but this collection looks like it has been designed in 14 days and styled in 14 minutes.

Simons has lost the effortless cool in his clothes for a loooooooog time. Like almost a decade ? Thanks to Kanye West, each collection is either predictable or boring in order to satisfy the new crowd who buys frenetically his items.

He used to be a kind a of punk shaking/shocking men's fashion with a brand new message and aesthetic. Now he's reduced to sell Adidas sneakers and tshirts to ignorant rich kids.

Sad...or let's say tragic.

Really? Raf is the only interesting thing at NYFW? Because this is pretty terrible and has been consistently terrible for the last few seasons, regardless of where it's shown. After seeing this I have REALLY low expectations for Calvin...

And not for anything, Milan and Paris pump out an equal amount of ugly

I've never bern a fan of Raf's own collection, while loving his work for other brands, but this is the most uninteresting collection I have seen from him, under any brand.

There's not a whole lot here. Some nice coats. But nice coats are a dime a dozen.

Honestly, if it weren't Raf behind this no one would care (they might even mock it).

Let's hope he was more inspired for Calvin.

wow, its like he was really feeling the vibe of mens fashion week in NY and did something boring and uninspiring like 90% of the other designers did this week.

Right?? What a let down, considering all the buzz around this show.
