welcome to the spot!!..

learning about how and why other people see things the way they do is incredibly valuable...
it is the key to world peace...

very wise, really. I've just replied to that one post from softgrey, and i've explained a bit why i see things this way. Not because i like to talk about it, just because he/she (haven't really checked that ) seems to be interested in hearing it. You know everyone has different experiences in life that make him into the person he is, and everyone therefore also thinks differently and sees things differently. The only problem is, lots of people seem to believe that their way of living and thinking is the most correct one.

How about thinking about yours:-)

It seems that everything starts from a small step. It's not that you have to spend millions for Africa to change things. Just try to spend an euro, a minute or a nice word for people who need it. It's easy, isn't it.

I love many of the tops in this collection. Raf Simons impresses me time and time again. His designs are minimal, yet the beauty is in the details and the like. I love this.

Faust, I especially loved that sweater... How much was it, dare I ask?

You can certainly dare . It was $269 at 30% off, and I've never seen such quality wool in my life. The edges on the patches are a little frayed. Hmmm, come to think of it, a picture is due

Meanwhile, here is my wife's bag from this collection.

I think you'll find that we actually take their money and give them weapons. It's the basis of a large sector of the Western economy.

Barneys, S/S 02 was the last season they carried Raf. I found a lag of timing that I exploit. The lag comes into play when the stores bring in labels that are completely wrong for the general theme/atmosphere/typical customer of the store. Usually it will take a few seasons for the store to realize that the labels don't sell and drop them. Examples (for menswear) are Raf in Barneys, Ann Dem in Bagutta and Saks, etc. So I find myself one of the rare buyers of those labels... at a deep discount...
