the scarves are cool, wonder what they are made of.
mens pants, are "suit" a suit = pants+jacket costs 200-300$ not only the pants.....

the 50$ scarves are made of merino and they are printed as it seems the other ones are maybe cotton...

H&M is europe's second largest retailer. they can 'afford' to have the CDG collection in a few more stores..

sometimes i wish H&M were run by someone more like phillip green at least he makes his garments accesable in some ways. i dont think his designer collaborations are 100% hype.

I always thought that spotted cardigan was a shirt. it's really expensive! £39.99 but i'm going to get it probably. I'm deciding between the dark red colour and navy...

To enshure that exlusive feeling. Most people who buy this don't give rats *** about rei or comme de garçons, but just wants a "designer garment", and with these they are giong to be sooooo avant garde =/ sad but true

^its so utterly dishonest...more explicitly disgustingly deceiving. just think for once i gave high-street a chance to win me over after my years and years of uncompromising principles against them. but the one that did seem to be the more genuine,in turn, does the same things the rest i detest do. i love rei and cdg but all this is really leaving a bitter taste for h&m now.

i agree, i think h&M shows a lot of contempt for consumers.
they think the CDG, cavalli etc collections are "too good" for most of their customers
i think H&M just rests on its laurels the rest of the year. its as if they aren't even trying...for example, right now my H&M just has a lot of licensed apparel with pictures of catwoman, hello kitty, snoopy etc. its just garbage really. the rest of the clothes arent even cut well anymore. its just basics.

guys, have you checked online? the austrian online store sells the collabo from the official release date on, so i guess other online H&M stores will offer that too. even if there's no store near you, you can still hope that the online store won't crash and get stuff there geez.

don't agree .........
if the quality remains what h&m quality is, i think this is absoluty hors-de-prix .....
but if the quality is nice, i guess the price are ok .....

oh and i'm kind of disappointed by the menswear now that i can clearly see what will be sold .....
guess i won't spend that much money .........

i think it will be nice, i haven't seen it yet, but it's a very old CDGCDG style cardigan, we used to have it in our store. It is printed in a CDG way.

...quality, i trust Rei Kawakubo, you will not get CDG quality of course nor HM...i am expecting something in between...

She did exactly what I was expecting so I am not dissapointed by the designs and women are by far the best!

I wonder if you can buy the mens pants without the jacket...
It would be a chance to get a nice basic pant.
The boiled wool pants and suit is unfortunately only available in reduced quantity as the website says (which means it is only available in the flagship store of each country??).

I didn't mean that is was H&M showing distain for their customers, although I think their thoughts on 'luxe' is getting a bit too much, showing how many stores are cut back. If this collection was as videly availble (and cheap) as "normal" H&M clothes, the collection would loose the momentum, and it would be nothing like owning a CDG-garment. I'm not saying this is H&Ms fault, and what I said may be true to Norway moreso than other places, I dunno. I think the real "criminals" here are the ones that go shopping at H&M regulary (not meant as a negative, I do that too), that will throw themselves at anything that is "designer", just like people pay for basic t-shirts that have a big "D&G" printed on the chest (at least almost). Let's face it, some of the CDG-pieces are just plain... wierd, at least by H&M standards, but time will tell if these pieces will be picked up by the fashion-avant garde that actually loves fashion but can't afford to pick up "real" CDG or if the hype will lead to what I mention "oooh this is a designer garment, I must have it".

on the french h&m it says that the suit is sold as a suit ....
so you cannot buy the pants without the jacket.
