I only like the first part of it. I'm not a big fan of the Rick Owens' aesthetic, so the toned down pieces were the best for me. I liked the shape of the outfits that included those high-waisted pants and slim top. It was visually appealing to me.

But then the second part (starting in #5 after the first to looks for me), is pretty much everything I hate about that brand

It does feel different than what I am normally exposed to when it comes to him. Not overly in love with anything here. The high-waisted pants do a good job of changing things up and the frayed jackets are fun if nothing else. That scarf leather is cool for all the right ways if I have to admit.

i actually really adore the evolved direction here more than anything. kind of moving away from the overdone nomad look. it's nice to see he can move beyond one schtick whilst maintaining his aesthetic.

i wonder what his inspiration was for the billowy stuff at the end? it kind of reminds me of hazmat suits meeting slaughterhouse worker.

he's genius imo. I love how he didn't just do the silhouette of the season like everyone else. He really elongated the legs with the high waist and gave them a cropped leather jacket. This one i absolutely need
