I think this is pretty interesting.. something new at least, yet still remaining true to the Rick Owens aesthetic.

Also, I'm loving the low hemlines in the tops. I tend to far prefer lower hemlines in shirts, sweaters, t-shirts and the like.

I love it. It's very bold, and very Rick Owens.

It's VERY feminine, but I guess that's what Rick wanted to archieve. And it's all so... light, I miss his "heavier" collections.

Well many cultures have men wearing long skirts also known as sarongs or loongis or full sleeved thobes, but it will never catch on in the west. Nice attempt though!

As much as i love Rick's aesthetic, dresses and skirts don't work for man. NEVER.

Brilliant collection. I had a feeling Rick would jump onto the skirts-for-men idea. I truly don't see much femininity in this collection...quite the contrary...it's more masculine. None of the men are wearing a long frilly skirt in shades of pink...they're wearing very neutral colors and a more somber palette...why is typicly what the majority of men wear.

Decades ago...it wasn't permissable or socially acceptable for a woman to be seen wearing trousers...now, women wearing pants hardly gets a second view or anymore shock-value. Society is hell-bent on perceiving a long shirt or a short skirt as "women's" attire. In essence...no garment other than a bra or a brassier is designed specificly for a woman. Form follows function..and men do not have breasts. A bra on a man isn't necessary. Other than that..everything else that we choose to put upon our body is open to everyone's interpretation. To me...a skirt only being allowed to be worn on a woman is a very narrow-minded viewpoint. Gender and sexuality is of no significance....and most men would fear to admit that wearing a skirt..is actually MORE comfortable than wearing a pair of trousers.

I wear long MEN'S skirts by Comme Des Garcons Homme Plus ALL the time....but they're made of a masculine color..black...dark navy blue w/pinstripes, gray's, etc. and I wear them with heavy boots or shoes, a sportcoat, and sometimes with a necktie. Criticism from others is un-avoidably expected, but when explianed to most men...the comfortablity is in-arguable. They're simply not brave enough to do it, themselves.

I haven't liked a Rick Owens collection in a very long time, something about this collection doesn't seem dark or edgy. This might be one of Rick's most softest collections he's ever done.

Those blazers are going to be hot!

PERFECT example of how skirts and dresses CAN look masculine. As margielamike2004 said, Rich Owens did here what pants did for women. Those models look every bit a man to me. There's nothing female about them.
