Overall, I have to say that I think this is a VERY strong collection - great fabric adaptions from winter to spring to maintain some of his great signature themes

thanks Ms. Mullet

I love the inspiration and the presentation... the veils or skirts for the shoes it's a great collection of course... the same great technique, signature style and overall appeal of modest beauty that RO does best. I love the fabrics he went with this season as well.

It's very subdued and subtle compared to previous seasons, but it's still compelling, as always! Love every outfit

Not so sure about the shoes, but they play a huge part in setting the mood for the collection! I really want to see what they look like under that draping!! Every now and then you get a peak of what's underneath and it's such a tease!

[For those posting this (show and closeup pics) in other communities, please please do not hotlink from my photobucket account , it stops showing for a month, no kidding. if other forums had the no-quote-pictures policy, it would be perfect, but they don't, so it's a nightmare.]

I looked at this quickly and was a bit "uhm, is this it? A bit disappointed", but as I remembered that this is Rick Owens we are talking about, I looked closer and took the time to enjoy the cuts and the details. Needless to say i ADORE it! Still making up my mind about the shoes though

This is wonderful!

I'm getting the Druid meets Egyptian vibe from this - the shoes scream Margiela, but then Rick Owens' aesthetic has always rivaled MMM's more wearable pieces. I'm just so happy to see such a minimalist collection brimming with ideas straight out the gate at Paris! And unlike Prada, the runway styling does not detract from the reality that these are all imminently wearable pieces! Those vests! Those skirts! Even those headdresses could work in some contexts. I'm totally mad for them.

Absoloutely in a league of its own!

I adore this soo much, the skirts are expectional, and of course as always he cuts a mean jacket and coat. The headdresses are soo brilliant and especially the shoes. You have to have a true strenght as a designer to show the collection almos entirely in black and still manage to draw in and captivate.

I love you Rick.
