Gorgeous! But I've got to say that last season was much better.

It's all so quiet and calm. Convent chic. Despite the cut-out pieces this is definitely a reserved collection. Nothing stands out as being exceptional yet but definitely there are some simple, wearable, and incredibly cool clothes, as always.

Not sure how I feel about the jackets with the gathered neckline. Looks a little weird.

The detailing and the cuts are genius, as always.

I love all those perversively fashionable nuns in fashion lately. What a great, sellable collection! He is really on a roll lately.

The shoes seem to be a marriage between FW 08.09 and F/W 07.08, I think...somehow:

ITA with your take on the shoes....I think this is becoming a stronger and stronger part of his collections. I'm hoping to see slightly larger distribution too!

this is amazing. the skirts are spectacular and I am drooling over the leather pieces. the leather pieces really are the barometer of a good RO collection and these are amazing

I think I could've liked this if the casting was more appealing. It's so Horror Cabinet like. I'd have preferred more angelic or at least interesting faces, not those crooked, old-woman looking.
Well, anyways. The clothes are fascinating and I love the closing

No I disagree! The cast is fabulous. His look isnt about stereotypical pretty appeal..these woman are freakish and bizarre and as much of a euphemism of a word it is, unique. Its terrific! I dont recognize anyone except Irina, Mariacarla, Stam,(who I agree with whomever said she doesnt fit his look) Karlie..maybe Freja somewhere in there? I'd love to know the full line-up...too lazy though atm to save, upload and then copy/paste in the Model ID thread.
Oh this is a perfect way to start my week.

Very interesting! The jackets and vests are standard Owens fare, the Egyptian wimples pure styling. I'm curious about the shoes: will they still look like elephants' feet when they get to the stores?

Because Owens works with the same aesthetic every season instead of shifting radically, I think it's much more important for him to dress things up to look different. Thus the headgear, and the shoes, which creates a very interesting silhouette. But at base, the pieces that give Owens his commercial appeal are unaltered.

Solid collection!
