This is amazing. I totally love how they combine different kinds of fabrics together, it works so well. And the inspiration sounds really interesting, I like that.

Honestly before the show I was worried that they would do the same thing over again, but apparently they have new ideas but then developed them with their style. I'm in love with them.

think I'm one of the few who wasn't ecstatic about the last show, but in contrast, I LOVE this collection - the Mulleavy sisters clearly know what they're doing at this stage

Lovely. A bit less 'frill' than usual...
More practical, somehow?
They are managing to mix very 'now' trends with their own P.O.V. while never
losing their integrity. My fave part of the show is the gorgeous array of textures...

i like some of the more colourful pieces but overall this is pretty disappointing...that shade of green is so ugly and i am really over the blue/black

I think it's great that they have a strong identity and a clear signature aesthetic that they can build upon each season and still make it look fresh. You don't always get that with new designers.

I'd love to see the plus-sized Rodarte sister prance around NYC in their shoes

Regardless, while I certainly appreciate their style, I can't help but think the majority of this is rather heavy-handed..Just a little restraint wouldn't hurt IMO.

First, don't hate me for speaking my mind - I'm going against the grain here.

It's a repetitive collection, crudely made collages and annoyingly combination-Balenciaga from a few seasons ago - it was unoriginal when Balenciaga recreated Kaisik Wong even then. I'm one of the few here skeptical of Rodarte even though I usually like the indies. Under all the "organic" Etsy-DIY material collage aesthetic, I don't see anything new, I don't see construction skills, I don't see them doing anything more than putting together combinations of the same collage technique in different lengths and colours. Honestly, I did collages similar to these during kindergarten days with sweet wrappers, toilet paper and bits of yarn.

I think this might be my favorite collection from the girls yet. I can't wait to see video and hear what music they chose.

I really love the texture and colors of the fabric but I am not liking the same shape to every dress nipped in waste and short skirt I liked last season better although this is still good I think I wanted more.

some of the outfits are really nice, but there is very little innovative aspects. a bit like the balenciaga s/s 09 show.
