Definitely agree with you! Rodarte sisters always have the Couture craft. This collection is wearable, elegant, tender, but also with striking details. I'm totally in love!

The Americana/Prairie inspiration is a bit played out but they did it so beautifully and in such a different way than other designers that I can't help but feel inspired by it as well. The fabrics are just so sumptuous. Everything they touch is beautiful. This is a far more commercial collection than any previous ones but it hasn't diminished the artistry behind it.

Not liking it .. as someone pointed it out .. too literal .. some stuff is borderline costumey (some of the skirts).

On the other hand the quilting pieces are to die for .. the color palette is awesome (as well as the textures) and those red numbers look KILLER!

Im seriously doubting myself about if Im getting too distracted by the references tapped in here (or is it just the styling?).

Those looong silouhettes (which remind me of Reform-era dresses) are so lovely!

So so gorgeous. The coats and gowns are just perfection.
I really want one of the coats. The cut is just so different.
I think this will be my favourite collection from NY.

My instant reaction to this collection was that I was undecided... but as I look at it more and more I am starting to fall in love. I am loving the color combinations and I adore those long printed dresses with the wheat. And WOW I would love to see Rodarte do a collection of all red pieces.. those were just amazing!
