How boring. It is very commercial, which I guess is good? And didn't we see that hand print somewhere else this season...?

I really like it, I think it's beautiful. Sure it doesn't have their complex draping and carefully shredded fabrics and all that, but there's just as much beautiful detailing here. This collection just feels like an honest one from these girls. They haven't created something overwrought, like last season, it's just very well constructed pieces. Sure it's more commercial, but I think it's still it's consistent, honest and very beautiful. No doubt that these pieces will find themselves on the backs of many women.

This collection certainly isn't ground breaking but I really, really like it and it seems very wearable. Their modern take on some original Dior cuts is very pleasant and some of the pieces remind me a little of The Birds.

I just looked at it again, full screen, all the way through at style.com, and there are definitely some lovely pieces here. Not edgy, no, but lovely nonetheless. IMO.

I like the handprint dresses but aside from that it's frumpy and dull. They used to be exciting, what happened?!

I really, really like some aspects but then I really kinda dislike others, and I'm a BIG fan of Rodarte. I hate those last two hand print dresses. Ew.

But I really love some of the coats, shoes, and dresses.

For some seasons now Rodarte became extremely "pretty" and comercial. On one hand I understand that the girls are seeking for a bigger audience and to expand the brand, but it's definitely hurting the artistic direction of the brand. At one time they were the most innovative brand in NY, but I don't see that now. I hope for the next collections they find the balance between commercial intention and creative integrity.
