Does anybody have a possible explanation for what he was thinking? How could this have happened, cause to me this looks like a deliberate joke.

If PPR has any brains left, they should go crawling to Nicolas Ghesquire and beg him to take over the brand.

hedi seems to be still living in 2006's indie club kids scene. that's how the girls used to dress in clubs. i did too, but i sorta have been wearing stuff like that since my teens cause i was in a riot grrrl band~~ etc. vintage shops and topshop have better looking clothes than some of the things he delivered here.

it's really not surprising that this sort of collection comes from him. but im sorta surprised that he still put it out on a saint laurent runway, if that makes any sense

I don't know wether to laugh or cry as that collection is just tragic. He seems to be doing more damage than good to the house of Saint Laurent.

When I look at this, all I can think of that their target client is a 17 y-o high school girl. Good luck selling that to 50+ women... PPR must be super pleased If that goes on, I give him 3 more seasons and he'll get fired.

Not to mention that there is not an ounce of creativity in this collection. It looks straight out of a Topshop lookbook for goodness sake!

Uh...I certainly missed YSL changing hands. Before, it was hardly anything I would consider wearing because I think I just didn't "get it" or whatever. But this...this is far worse. LOL I think the first couple of looks were quite cute (and cute is something I'd NEVER describe YSL as being), but then it went super trashy super fast. This Slimane guy sure knows how to piss people off.

I think he left the show crying, full of tissues, and screaming for Yves to comeback!

Few are the girls that look a bit classy and tastfeul in this show. The major part look like h*es and the others like teenagers that are drug addicts, have family issues, and spent years in correction facilities.

Further down the article it states that it was an economical success. I guess it's a reliable source?

I think my question was made out of utter disbelieve. I clearly recognize the 2006-ish scene style here on the runway and like you say the H&M Divided windows have better looking outfits than this garbage.

This is so disrespectful to the name and to the man himself. I feel ashamed for him.

People are being quite unfair to Topshop as far as I'm concerned, they try their best with what they have, in this case, it's the opposite.
