I love Allison, but I'd find it just as insipid.

The more I look at it, the more high street I see -- that combination of classic preppy [toggle and peat coats] combined with the rocker elements -- c'mon man.

i see the ysl suits from decades back in these pieces....the smoking jacket-thin silouette, ysl the man. i dont love every piece, but im terribly intrigued where he'll take the brand. i love rocker chic, and to have a brand oozing that each season and not jumping on stripes and chiffon to stay on trend goes to show that perhaps beyond his ego/attitude that there are high quality, chic staples that are season-less and investment pieces....and i feel like soo many design houses have lost that these days thanks to the lady gaga shock factor of design that seems to be garnering the attention of editorial lenses these days. im kinda diggin' the F U attitude and the all black and white ads.

Stefano should never left YSL he was very good, and made some great collections and stunning accessories, now Hedi....if this is true to YSL I don't know what YSL is anymore!

It's a shame that a brand soo sensual, vibrant, parisian, and with an exotic spice to it...turns out like this, bland and lifeless, it lost their charm!
That's exactly what I was going to post!

It's not even Topshop. Even Topshop and H&M are edgier than this.

Other than that -- I really don't like this look. And I usually love most things YSL

I have come to grips with the Hedi's plan to change the brand but I can't get into his design aesthetic. I don't care how cool the clothes looks or how sexy the lengths of his dresses are, I still think this looks incredibly cheap.

You cannot tell me this doesn't look like a designer TARGET collection.
