I am upset as well.
I loved that this line was geared toward women, not teens.
Isn't there too much teen crap out there and not enough for young women?

hmmm..

thanks for the update ta-ta..

i was hoping that they would just have more of the actual smaller sizes in stores..
not that they would change the sizing completely..
You're welcome.

What I was hoping for was that they would add XS or XXS or something like that ... I don't really care what it says on the label, so if they had just bumped what was M to L that would've been fine too.

I agree ... my understanding was it was targeted toward women of all ages--something both Vera and her daughters can wear. Of course women are shaped differently than girls ...

And I agree with brokenenglish ... I didn't know teens were hurting for stuff to wear But I know that this season pretty much all my sources for reasonably priced things have dried up. I'm not loving that ...

that's really frustrating ta-ta

i agree with brokenenglish as well..
the market is already oversaturated with teen/tween wear..

this was a nice alternative to the go international lines from target specifically because the clothes are more wearable for women in a different age group..
from young women to more mature women..
which was nice...

changing the sizing like that just seems counterintuitive...

i would agree with adding sizes xs or xxs rather than just making the current sizes smaller...

i really have to go in and try some stuff on..
i'm young enough that the sizing change might not really affect me negatively but still...

It sounds like many of us agree that it's thumbs down this season ... are you listening, Vera?

The problem with this line is that it looks like last year's line with all the loose, baggy silhouettes. If this is going to be a lasting thing Vera needs to update the looks to be in line with the season.

that sucks soft...
i bought the blue ombré/watercolor print pencil skirt and a few other pieces last month, and the only thing i kept was the skirt...
i ordered 2 dresses (both completely unflattering) and 2 tops (too short)...

i can't post a pic because they aren't on the website anymore...
but one was a zipper skirt...
*it was good in concept and well made, but the length and the fit was unflattering
the other was an ivory.beige flyaway top w/short sleeves...
it was also good in concept...but in real life it was WAY too voluminous and the fabric draped in a very unflattering way...it looked like a tent...

...

i actually did keep a long tank top...i guess that is a good basic...

The fit of this is starting to get weird. I tried on the rose print top in the blue tones today and had to go all the way down to a small. In no world am I a small..I am a size 12-14 generally. It was ridiculous!
