my mom got the beige ruffle blazer that is currently marked down to $50 on kohls.com. she really liked it a lot.
i have to say that im a fan of the satin, polyester and poly-rayon blends used in the vera line... its a lot nicer than you'd guess!

i bought both of these items for less than ten dollars each at my local kohls instore.
both are man made materials. the long sleeve top looks exactly like silk, but it is satin. (pics from ebay) it has sequins on it, so ill handwash it. i adored the neckline of the pumpkin collared top when i saw it. the original price was 54$. ive just thrown it into my washing machine. thats the beauty of poly.

Still thinking about that dress... since I ended up buying 2 jackets & a shirt. They just arrived today though so Ill have to see what I think about the shirt. Maybe if I return that I dont get the red skirt. I havent tryed on that skirt yet so we'll see.

So I just checked out the shirt...its a white sleeveless poplin shirt with a black bow at the waist thats removeable (I didnt know that) & I keeping it for sure. LOVE it & the jackets (one for me in black & one for mom in red) are PERFECTION!!
So the red skirt is part of the spring line... I guess itll be awhile before the summer collection arrives then? |

Just back from Kohls... they didnt have my size in the floral tank (but didnt like it in person anyways). They didnt have my size in the red skirt either so I will be checking another Kohls tomorrow for that one. The ruffle sandals were not so nice in person.
I did find some dark straight leg jeans that were a tiny bit big on me so they fit like boyfriend jeans... Im considering them but dont know. So left with nothing today. |

LOL... Im the only one writing here.
Anyways... tryed on the red skirt & didnt like it. Now Im hoping they still have that grey shirred dress at the other one in my size & Im alittle irritated with myself that I didnt get it when it was the special hours price & with the extra 15% off. So I guess Ill have to pay more or risk not getting the dress. *sigh* |

I got the red skirt and love it, I also agree about the fabrics used in this line, very easy to take care of but still look nice at the same time

Saw a couple really cute tops... does anyone have the grey/white brush stroke top with the floaty back? Ive been looking for a floaty back top... ever since a topic was started for it here. The top comes in black too but Im kind of liking the grey/white... maybe Ill get both but I have to check another kohls for my size because they didnt have the black in my size.
Also loving the floral baby doll top thats two different floral prints but again they didnt have my size at that store. Ill probably check the other one tomorrow. |
