The one thing I just can't stand about his collections is that he over-does it with the couture effects, imo anyway. It's like there's he needs to show off his skill and his atelier's skill on every possible surface with some of his pieces, and the results are just overwhelming. He's like couture's Zac Posen.

And the bottom of that brown gown looks like the A.B.S. version of this Versace.

Humm, that's true ! I can see some techniques from Givenchy, Dior, and even Christopher Kane, and of course that bottom does look like Versace .

I still like it though !

The concept of ruffles on the white dress remind me of Givenchy. Looks like a strong collection, very excited about it.

I'm with Spike, that dress instantly reminded me of the Versace dress as well.

this collection seems to be a mishmash of all the HC designers but
i do agree that the pieces are reminiscent of previous ones from past
collections. there's no defining look here.

Really, I see the Dior and Versace pieces too. And a bit Gareth Pugh in some of the white pieces (like 2nd on the #1 post) with geometrics on them. Some Armani too... 3rd on the #4 and 2nd on #11.
But overall looks more than good. Somehow. I wish it was more creative tho.
