i think she only has one other thread here.. and it's only one page - very glad to see more of her workfeeling some kind of don't want to use this word tribalism going on a bit with the raw edges and ragged patchwork of fabrics also in the prints and accessories.. irregular bone wood necklaces and long trinkets of straw wrapped in colours i saw a photo of her once in her designs suits her very well it has a "real person" feel to it..

yeah,i don't think many people really ever understood her. which is funny too as she was often dubbed the kawakubo or margiela of america. it does feel very real....her homespun aesthetics are just part of her soul and she expresses her emotions through stitching.
as for the collection itself...you're right. its kind of what one recalls dries van noten doing some years ago only with susan,as i mentioned,its got a more homespun aesthetic. very her.
