Filippa K - boring, usual clothes that could be necessary in your basic closet
Boomerang - absolute boring, for older person
Tiger of Sweden - lowclass, with some nice suits
J.Lindeberg - creative, but just so ugly.
Acne - read the acne jeans thread
Nudie - ueck!

I totally agree with your statement! Although I find Filippa K and J. Lindberg very creative but yet simple cuts with clean lines (maybe a bit boring).

Although male fashion is far more developed in Sweden than the rest of the world (comparatively)maybe not Japan but generally.

I would say danish fashion is more "in the wind" than swedish...

Cheap Monday is ****.
The quality sucks, you can hardly call it jeans. Its very stretchy jeans, that is so slim that it can hurt. Then the waist is too big so it looks strange.
But if you are half thin, and want to look really thin, this is perfect. Almost everyone looks slim.
The best with them are the price - around 40 euro. (400 swedish crones)

A little collection

thanks for your post, julletman... much appreciated

yeah, they might look better than they actually are, especially given the fact that they only cost 40 € (RETAIL!!) makes the quality a bit dubious... they might be good if you are just looking for something to wear during the weekends, if you donīt want to ruin your Diorīs... ... On the other side, can you go much wrong with something that cheap? This should be H&M lvl, not only in terms of pricing but also quality --- or is it even less?!

Now, all you swedes don't have to badmouth swedish brands like that. Of course there are better alternatives but they aren't that bad. Here in Sweden almost everything you find is from these brands so it's understandable if swedes are tired of them.
Myself, I would find it quite fun if they could be succesful in other countries.

Itīs funny to see that there seems to be an own fashion scene/taste in Sweden, with brands that youīll have a hard time finding elsewhere! Itīs still a big no-no for a lot of people to wear superskinny jeans where I live, yet on the other side, I always hear how very "mainstream" they are up in the north... is everybody slim enough to wear them??!
