And I built this balustrade to keep you home, to keep you safe from the outside world
I don't think it's that terrible....
but there is just nothing very orignal in the collection.
She's redoing what other "real designers" have already done,
it's basically an expensive knock off line.
I don't get the trailer...
She should have used it last year. Her collection then was much trashier.
i thought it wasn't half bad...and that cream mohair (?) coat with the drawstring hem..some 'designers" don't even parade that on their runways...
i do agree that j lo doesn't need a runway show, there are people who need it more than her...yes, i definitely agree

but not really something that deserves a runway show of its own. I'd like to think runway shows should be reserved for designers with actually something to say, a fashion vocabulary to articulate it and a direction in they're trying to direct fashion. Otherwise, you're a dressmaker at best.
This stuff is fine but really no better than knock-off items you can find done by in-store labels like Macy's Inc.
I have to disagree with you. Every designer shows their line. That's part of the business in the same way there are movie screenings and album listening parties. There are plenty of designers (some of whom fit your description above) who have runway shows that we don't know about simply because they are not famous. So to say that Sweetface doesn't deserve a show is kind of ridiculous. I would agree that Sweetface doesn't deserve the huge amount of recognition but the owner is famous, so there's nothing we can do about that. Disclaimer: I am not a fan of Jennifer Lopez or a Sweetface customer.
I think this collection is a much better effort than last season which was simply a bunch of clothes thrown into a huge hype machine.
ok. i'm w/susie & soft !
& i'd wear a few outfits w/no qualms ;]
tht cream trench w/skinny trousers is v.adorable
obv. she didn't 'design' this
so it's a rehash of a few recent key trends . . . in particular 'volume'
bubble hems . . skinny trousers . . . empire line tops
