i dunno,this doesn't feel TAO to me apart from the woven motifs. more rei and junya. in fact i'd probably like it if it did come from them but tao has a distinctly different vision.

There are a lot of cool layering pieces in this collection; mainly those knotted tulle (?) vest things. Other than that, I find the presentation to be really spastic and quite frankly, messy. Tao's work always evokes a sense of feral beauty; this is kind of a watered down version of that.

^ yeah it is a little confusing to me as well, but looking past the styling, at least there's a lot of knit work because imo that is where she really excels. I love many of the pieces but I do miss her usual guarded and voluminous approach.

i love the fact its a bit erratic but incredibly creative and [mostly] perfectly proportioned. its fresh and def punk with transparency to cut the edge. i adore this.

despite the knotted nets here and there.. and the ruffled floral dresses, and all the styling.. I find this very commercial, or just too basic to turn my enthusiasm.

Never a fan of Tao of all the CdG alumni, and this collection seals it!

the boots im gaga over and these two...the entire look with the striped dress just gets to me. perhaps the reason i like it so much is because i feel so much junya from this but in a very tao voice.
