This could be the first of his collections for Theory that I don't like. I'm not impressed by anything I see here. And his shows and lookbooks are usually styled so well and this looks a bit too effortless. The boots and the fur coat are cool, though.

I'm not impressed either, I was expecting his usually cool and sophisticated pieces, but most of this looks just unflattering or too basic

He must take care not to lower himself to the same standards of other emerging NY designers such as Richard Chai, Rag & Bone or Proenza Schouler... While the outfits 'work', they are hardly giving you that extra bit of something you would expect from a heavyweight as Olivier Theyskens clearly is.

Oh, this I LIKE. The first look with the fur is my absolute favorite!

You took the words out of my mouth. I saw this and though, Phillip Lim? or someone along those lines; Theyskens' sort of lost his edge with this collection. There are some good pieces in there, but as Psylocke pointed out he usually styles his collection so that there's some spark.

Alright, spoke too soon, there's the trademark edge of Theyskens and there's the styling (although damn it's dark and hard to see in some of this pictures). It's one of my least favorite collections of his, but still a lot of good wearable pieces in there. I love the floral prints, and the tweed jackets look nice as well.

Yeah, hate to admit it, but I definitely judged prematurely, too. I still think it's his least exciting collection so far but I still found myself thinking "I want this!" with every picture I opened The coats and jackets are especially amazing.

I love this so much that as soon as I saw it I went to Moda Operandi to see if they had scheduled a sale anytime soon. I would buy the knee-length fur coat right now, if I could. At first I thought it was very Courtney Love, but it's really more like what Kurt would wear if he was a wealthy girl-urbanite.
