Bland at best, and fugly at worst. It now makes sense as to why he's putting on his own little show in LA; he's surrounded himself with mindless celebrity friends who will automatically praise him and give him a standing ovation for this mess. God knows how this show would have gone down if it was in London without all these A-listers. No no no to the denim-fur hybrid patchwork skirts, and many of the other dresses and peasant-y blouses feel very safe, look kinda matronly and are just not deserving of a runway show.

Did anyone else notice that he used one of the exact same songs as his last show? Also, the Hadid sisters need to learn to close their mouths and keep straight faces on the catwalk.

Too bad the collection is a mess because the set was spectacular. The rose petals are magical and set the mood well.

A lot of pieces look good because of the models. I mean just watch Gigi’s walk and compare with Joan or Karlie or even Binx, these girls are working it. Also I can’t wait for someone wearing one of the finale dresses just to proof she’s a risk-taker.

Admit it, we all bother to watch it just because of the cast.

the denim doesn't work but some of this is really sexy and it looks so much better in the video than it does in the pictures

No wonder he ran away from the fashion crowd to seek comfort in the arms of the likes of J.Lo and Beyoncé. Some separate pieces here and there are strong, but overall it's another dated horror show. That whole denim section is probably the most disturbing thing i've seen in quite some time.

Honestly he should just call it a day and go for small, easy-to-wear lookbook collections like he does with Menswear. This is so embarrasing.

I had to recheck and see whether I clicked a 2001 thread. This looks dated. Oh my god those printed skirts and dresses are laughable. What on earth. I am a s*cker for fur and this doesn't invite me at all. Some pieces were individually nice, but all together it's a mess. He managed to make denim, even though still used today, look and feel so dated. I mean the only thing that made me happy about this is when it brought me back to my 2001 memories.

But I guess this would still sell because it's Tom Ford I guess.

I liked the show and clothes but those denim patchwork outfits all need to be burned.

i think that when you also look at what the celebs who attended the show wore from his designs you can see how rubbish they look and how he hasn't been great since he moved to london

How horrible. The set and the first few looks got me excited for the collection and then just a barrage of terrible patchwork denim and fur. What in the world am I even looking at.

I quite liked it. It isn't my favorite collection of his, and quite honestly the rose petals bothered me if for no other reason than that element is so inextricably linked to his Gucci F/W 03 show that redoing it seems almost sacrilegious, but there was something in the mix of somber and exuberant that worked for me.

The pieces I wasn't entirely sold on were the denim pieces, and that's mostly down to the fact that I rarely like denim when it appears on the runway. The rest of it, from the black or ivory prairie dresses to the coats to the evening looks, were quite beautiful. That said, I prefer over the top Tom.

As an aside I find it more and more depressing/amusing that fashion -- and as a result the viewers of it -- take taste so seriously these days. Mostly I blame Celine, as well as all of the other brands who have managed to make plain, pseudo-intellectual clothes with weird shapes and even weirder details seem the very epitome of taste. After all, nothing says tasteful like earnestness. People really need to lighten the f*** up and stop taking fashion and style so seriously
