They don't even bother to change the venue, do they?

Worst thing is, this would be a perfect, wonderful collection, in another context. But, as it's valentino, the collection is killed by the repetetiveness of it all.

This had been the first brand I truly truly loved... so it breaks my heart now when I see this. So unoriginal and boring. This collection itself might be all right but it has nothing to do with Valentino I used to know.

Im getting bored. Except for the palettes Valentino's recent colls do not vary much. The couple's HC FW10 was so good but they failed to keep the audience amazed

Hmmm, this looks like the fragile, young Valentino girl was joined by her sterner, more confident cousin and yet they both smell like lavender and mothballs; but hey I can't throw too much shade, because:
a) there are some very nice and well made pieces in the collection; and
b) it can't be denied that in recent seasons, Valentino has been a force in editorials and on the red carpet.

Better than the last collections, but still this overdone girly vibe going around.
I think it's going to take a lot to make me get on the Valentino train....

There is very strong christopher kane narrative here. Some of the looks are extremely similar in silhouette, fabric choices, and colouring.

If someone told me Garavani's house would end up looking like that few years ago, I would be laughing to tears. I'm not laughing now, though, it's really sad. For all the season they've been doing their circus, I somewhat cannot accept it really is Valentino.

But what's worse, I already see celebs wearing it just because of the label.

Predictable - pure utter crap. This is not Valentino.

I don't know why I bother to check out the train wreak that is now this house when it upsets me.

I'm becoming so bored by them...I actually liked some of their earlier collections but ever since last F/W I couldn't care two hoots...so repetitive, this whole sheer, girly thing.

I am sure this season's inspiration is a woman that is fragile and delicate ... again.
They are very limited in a lot of areas: vocabulary, colour palette, cuts, fabrics, etc.

Also, I am surprised with them being accessory designers that their accessories are not a lot stronger than what they are. I absolutely do not like Frida Giannini, but she has moments when she can make a nice accessory because that's what she knows. I am not seeing that here.

I must make a point to say that this collection is not "bad" or "horrible," but what is is a collection that is lacking any sort of imagination, inspiration, boldness, energy, and a lot of other lively descriptive words. They are completely resting on a very very specific deal that is not to be confused with consistency, but repitition. This is a sign that they are not secure in their own aesthetic yet and cannot flourish in it.

Hope they figure it out soon before the suits do and show them the red door. ^^

It's a very nice collection, but the my overall reaction is that is boring, I don't know but for the last 3 seasons it's all looking the same, I just wish they tried some new things...
