VERY BEAUTIFUL!
I loved the fact that some looks even looked quite religious and holy! That's something never done at Valentino which I think should have been more of their direction if they (the new designers) think that they're not romantic enough for the label!

Thank god for this show, I was beginning to think Couture could never be beautiful again now that Galliano and Lacroix are gone. Lagerfeldt can do great stuff, but this season he failed. Tisci was a little too gimmicky.
This is beautiful and feels new for Valentino. There are some Medieval references here but they are explored in a way that is modern and not costume-esque.
I also see a lot more tailoring in this collection; something new for them I think. The jackets are sublime! They look really fresh styled with the gowns also.
I REALLY like this. They've finally stepped up their game a bit. They've spiced things up a bit with that red and black and they've finally cut back on the ruffle overload. The dresses here are ridiculously beautiful and effortlessly romantic.
The collection quite beautiful and regal, <3 the jackets and save the shiny satin and <3 the fabric choices. I am not in love with the muted colors but admittedly that helps me to focus on other details, and even though it is not my cup of tea, I prefer this frigid spinster vibe over the fragile kitten vibe in previous collections.
Quite bland and repetitive, I must say. Beautiful if course, but it eventually gets boring.
I don't know why but lately every Valentino show seems like one to me. If I ask myself what did Spring 2011 and what did Fall 2011 couture look like.. I won't be able to tell a difference in my mind.

Love this! They just get better and better, very rich and luxurious couture, love the velvet pieces especially, hope to see many of these gowns on the red carpet.

Yes indeed it is a very bland and we have seen them do a lot of these silhouettes time and time agian but, I cant believe Im saying this but a lot of this is actually good. Whole I a not a fan of the velvet peices the details are actually good. But I really wish that they would learn to use color it would help their collections tremendously.
