They started out good, looked promising then they dulled it out like always. I wish they would stop with the "oh so delicate" and "fragile" pieces, is tulle all they know how to use?!

But it's getting better, I will give them that.

I love it. This is way more to my taste than their previous collections! It's still ultra feminine but not as little girly. Best of all, it looks like couture and seems like it would be stunning in person. I especially love the penultimate gown on Patricia and the red dresses. I'm getting kind of a medieval feel throughout.

That's how I feel about this collection, it might not seem outstanding, but underneath it all, I feel they're starting to know what to do with Valentino - and hopefully their growing confidence will also translate into a stronger depiction of women in their adverts.

At the very least, I hope they continue to stay away from those frills, which always remind me of jellyfish.

If I am a princess I would totally wear this¨..the last gown worn by Freja is divine.
I also do think that shoes looks really comfortable.

"this has nothing to do with valentino"

"I don't see the valentino in this"

Well, I actually prefer this to what Valentino had been doing. I loved last season and I love this one and this is probably the most relevant couture show of the season, it is one of the few that actually assumes that couture is meant to be WORN. Its specialness is subtle, it's magnificence is discreet. I love the 60's and 70's references, reminds me of Vreeland era Vogue and old Oscar De La Renta, Jean Louis Scherrer, and Mary McFadden. So good, its got quite the mood, too.

It's really hard to hate this because all the pieces are so beautiful, delicate, fresh. But I can't bring myself to really like because it lacks personality. It's crazy but the only collection of theirs that sticks out in my mind is that one HC collection that's probably considered the weakest by many where models had that awful hair/makeup. I hate(d) it too, but looking back, it's the only one that evoked any feelings from me, albeit be it negative feelings at the time. But as cliche as it may sound, that collection had personality. This one (and most of their collections) does not. And I'm not even talking about Valentino personality, whose collections, love them or hate them, were vibrant, alive, his. This duo, while obviously capable of producing beautiful pieces, breath no life into their creations.

I think they're finally taking the right direction. This collection feels lovely, I'm not bored with it. Some looks are gorgeous. I love the details.

the runway is kind of distracting but im loving the collection, those sheer scarf make me faint away, too delicate. but i still prefer HC FW10. It was sharp, it was well-calculated yet still capricious. Forever my most favorite collection. I just like this season more than the last one

Its quite beautiful and honestly , I like this better than old Valentino, whose clothes I found stuffy and had this gaudy vibe about them. This is gothic, feminine and modern at the same time.

Disappointing especially the red dress. Valentino is known for its red color and the simplest and most boring dress was made in red.
