I definitely see Valentino in some of the details but i don't really like the cuts and silhouettes. A lot of it is really stiff and unflattering. It's romantic but a bit too soft for what I think the Valentino woman should be.
Mm, it's not bad. I actually like it, finally you can notice some evolution in their work. I'm really glad they ditched the bows, and although they couldn't resist putting some in the back of Jourdan's dress, I love the big chiffon ones.
The silver dress on Valerija is really beautiful, plus I love the music.
It comes to something when I consider the results two accessory designers produce to be better than most of the couturiers that have shown this season.

^ This! It looked sort of good in the small thumbnails, but then the big pics and video reveals that the duo still doesn't know how to cut dress. Even with atelier as amazing as Valentino's has it's apparently impossible to create beauty when the designers obviously know nothing about dressmaking and draping.
However, this collection IS a huge improvement from the gimmicky and outdated mauerbluemchen crap that was presented in the previous years, but still light years away from original Valentino or anything else beautiful. I refuse give in to PR telling me how new Valentino is great and geared towards younger generation; it's a brainwashing lie in hopes that if they tell people 20 million times that it's perfect someone might actually believe it. Collection has it's good moments, but still room for improvement.
