Love the colourpalette, the outerwear, especially the capes.

Oh, and the patterns, of course.

i love the use of the checks myself(maybe because i have an affinity for them,i dunno)...especially the darker checks. and the tweeds are also lovely. and these jewel tone empire dresses are so exquisite. and the interchangable green cape/coat(looks like it has sleeves that tuck into the sides as well)is beautiful. in fact both capes are brilliant. the only thing i really dislike are the ponchos. been there done that.

one can tell,by the backdrop and all the patterns, that she was definitely inspired by the forest and hunting garb.

Not nearly as brilliant as usual, but a good collection. The checks and tweeds are an accquired taste. They add something to the collection, imo.

It seems very 'normal clothes' and kind of outdoorsy. There's something comforting about that.

i miss Branquinho's delicate touch and her elegant lightness.. i seriously find this collection depressing and 'abandoned' but dont ask me to elaborate on 'abandoned' it's just a feeling i get out of this

^^ lena I see what you say but I realy like this collection - there are still light touches I'd say if you were to deconstruct the styling and wear some of it more simply....I just think it looks typically cool yet elegant as VB always does - the 70's vibe is quite fun too. Love the skinny legging pant things....I actually think this is a REALLY cool collection.

I think I agree with Helena....I was very put off by the styling at first, but the individual pieces look like they will be wonderful. The boots look great and the leggings are a nice touch. Also, the textures and the mixed prints seem very new for her, and they really soften the overall silhouette (which is not new). I still miss the old Veronique, but I'm happy to see her doing something different, in her own way.

I am liking this more the more I look at it.
Some details....I absolutely love the stripey leggings.

bumping a lovely collection...

This is so astonishingl in person....exquisitely crafted and with such thoughtful details. I especially loved the first skirt thing that mulletproof posted--it's actually a pair of very full shorts with long black ties on either side of the waist. I also saw a version of the ruffled, high-necked white shirt--but done in sheer black fabric with a little moon-star pattern all over.

I'm just in love...had to ramble somewhere....
