I agree--I think the model actually looks very short. These remind me of the white legging-boot things from Chanel's pre-fall 2012 collection, and I really don't care for those, either.

Just from this small preview, the collection looks plain and uninteresting.

I know we're not supposed to have model talk but I'm really shocked at the use of a model of color fronting this.

Now on to the collection, the boots are serious business. I really like them. I love the sweater because it reminds me of fall 2004. On the fence about the outerwear though. Versace has just been all over the place though and I'm still confused on what customer they're trying to attract and what the image of the brand is anymore. they seem to really be having an identity crisis.

Yea I know, it's like sooo weird, I mean a black model? COME ON. I thought Prada taught everyone not to use black models but Liya. Ridiculous.

This is obviously a collection meant to sell and not to generate publicity. Which basically equals boring in this case. And I find itinteresting that this is going the urban-road rather than then tacky one which they were going for H&M.

I'm shocked because Donatella rarely uses black models to front anything even though Gianni did frequently. I'm happy that Donatella is for once. There's no reason to take a rude tone.

It looks good at first, nothing overwhelming, just nice and wearable. My fave is the navy dress.
