The fit looks good on her jeans, but I just cannot buy into celebrity brands firstly and don't consider her a fashion icon personally.
Tyra would be a horrible spokesman for this line, it doesn't need to get any tackier. Look at that face she's making! and she used to be a top model in Paris...
i think the stars on the back pockets aren't that great... they're too big.. not very flattering... the price range seems too much.. even more expensive than other premium jeans... but why? how are these jeans high quality and premium? i wonder if the wages are high.... probably not..

I agree. I don't have any problems with stars in general, but I don't think those stars on dVb jeans are pretty at all. Not even cute. The stars on the back pocket do put me off only because they don't look good, not because they are stars.
^ I have to agree too, aesthetically it's not that pleasing. I mean even a preschooler can come up with that kind of design. She said in the press that she put a lot of effort into her design, but to me I just can't see it. A simple star design doesn't need a lot of effort. It is an insult really. Now, I might sound like a hater but I really think she should step up her game. Having your jeans produced by only the best materials or the best factories and what not don't guarantee that it will sell. You need more! Customers are getting very savvy nowadays with their spending regardless they have money or not.

The star is only one design, she also has a piping/logo alternative backpocket design too. She is also going with some bold new colours for the new collection and new washes and resins.
The star design gives familiarity to the range, it doesn't have to be complex to work and it has grown on me. Sometimes the simplest things work the best. And a lot of detail has been put on the fabrics, the wash and the cut. The jeans are hand made in Winnipeg, Canada and use premium Japanese denim.
Her jeans are not more expensive than other premium/designer brands at all! Just look on Saks.com and you can see dVB flare jeans are priced $242, while D&G or Cavalli flare jeans are priced $550! It's not like she is pretending she is on the same level as established designers like D&G by matching their prices.
Hmm.. I have to disagree, if you're looking for simple design it's better if you stay with the classics like Levis for example. $200+ for that it's a bit ridiculous.

Have any of guys worn her fragrance before or at least caught a whiff of it. I'm curious. I do like and owned the SJP's ones, but it can be too overwhelming sometimes , I wonder how will these smell like..
