Varun Bahl

A sober and deceptively simple look ruled Varun Bahl's collection. Sheer fabrics transcending into elegance and magic were the highlight of his designs. Perfection seemed to be the focus and was very well achieved in all the design elements. There was uniqueness in each of the ensembles - forms complimented the colour, colours complemented the texture and texture in turn complemented the silhouettes.

Designs by Asheema and Leena

The collection by designer duo Ashima and Leena take you back to Arabian nights! The collection is inspired by the warm dunes, the Persian paintings and Byzantine architecture. Very feminine silhouettes in pristine whites, accentuated with jewelled embellishments. Short kaftan dresses, strapless gowns topped with jewels, tube tops, draped trousers with pleating and ruched waists give the creation an artistic appeal. Mauves, fuchsia, pale olive, dreamy creams and yellows dominate the collection. A very wearable collection for the woman on the move.

Shantanu and Nikhil

Titled 'Serenity', Shantanu and Nikhil's collection draws inspiration from Ladakh, finely balancing the stark, harsh, unforgiving mountainous region with the innocence of its people. Marbled effects using surface ornamentation and hand paintings effectively showed off the terrain on knits, taffetas and silk jerseys.
